How HRMS software works

An HRMS is a set of workflows on one employee master. Hire or import a person, place them in a department, issue a login, then let other modules write events against that person.
Attendance devices write punches. Leave writes applications and balances. Shifts write intended time. Payroll reads those inputs, applies components and tax slabs, and posts a period. Self-service shows the employee a subset of the same data. Reports read it again for managers.
Implementation is configuration plus data, not a magic switch: discovery, policies, device mapping, a payroll dry run, training, then go-live. That sequence is already how SBS Technologies describes delivery.
